Jonathon, Founder.
Jonathon has been with Woodworking Emporium for 3 years now. He has always been interested in using his hands to work with wood, metal, electronics and tinkering with his motorcycle.
Jonathon started with Technical Drawing in highschool and overtime has moved from doing it by hand to using CAD and has now had the opportunity to put it all to good use with CNC machining.
Jonathon is an all rounder when it comes to his knowledge in general woodworking, and also has a wide range of knowledge for adhesives and resin.
Stephen, Managing Director.
Stephen has been with Woodworking Emporium for 3 years now. Before this, he was the manage at Acacia Consulting for 30 years. Stephen’s passion for woodworking came about at the age of 10 when he decided to build his first wooden boat (with help of course).
Stephen’s expertise had developed over the years and he is now a jack of all trades as his love for woodworking continued to grow from when he was young. Some of Stephen’s favourite projects are turning, boxes and furniture, and enjoys interacting with fellow woodies
Adam, Sales.
Adam has always had an interest in woodworking and began learning about it in high school. Adam had a career in computing, however has spent the last several years as a core member of the Longford Men’s Shed. Adam is currently acting as a coordinator for the shed and trains members in various aspects of woodworking to ensure their safety and that of those around them.
Adam loves all things woodworking, and finds it hard to pinpoint a favourite project! He did however win an award for a replica sword with each of the pieces made entirely of wood and able to slot together like metal pieces would. This is one of Adam’s most proud moments as it required a high amount of precision and patience.
Adam has a wide range of knowledge specific to working with wood and enjoys helping customers to answer their questions and find a solution.
